Really great turnout for our February 2019 luncheon meeting. Quite unexpected with inclement weather and varied level of sickness all around. Our ladies love getting together for fellowship, networking, supporting each project and learning more about our community. Jan Parker gave her signature vivacious presentation about Jimmy Floyd center and keeping ON THE MOVE. Our project was dental care items to help both Family Resource for LSSD and Wilson County Schools. Membership is growing and we expect Spring to blossom even more. March 7 is our next meeting.
Wilson ONE never ceases to amaze us and today was no different! We had a great turnout of 50 incredible women and these incredible women are helping to dress other women who are in need. Everyone brought in dresses, business suits, shoes and accessories, to help 3 wonderful programs: Liz Reese with Brooks House (https://brookshousetn.org/) , Nora Jackson with Healing Broken Vessels (http://healingbrokenvessels.org) , and Betty Byrd with Adult Education (https://www.wcschools.com/domain/1321) . Hope we can help make a difference!
We also had a surprise guest, Donna Odum with Henderson’s Florist (https://www.hendersonflowershop.com/#) , who taught some of us to make Christmas bows. We had many who produced beautiful bows!
Most importantly, it’s what keeps Wilson ONE an amazing organization, Marie Farley swore in our new officers.
We had a wonderful November meeting with several new visitors, including some who learned about Wilson ONE at our A Taste of Wilson County booth!
Our speaker was Bob Pergler with Rehab 23. Rehab 23 provides supplies and support for local law enforcement and first responders. It was so informative – what a great organization! More information about them can be found at their website: rehab23.org.
Our project this month was Wilson County schools – Wilson ONE members donated socks, underwear, and dry shampoo for students in need.
We’d love to have you join us at our next meeting!
had an AWESOME October Meeting this past week! We had 40 members and 3 guests-which turned in applications before they left!!
Our speaker was Sabrina Keener with Be Still and Breathe Salt Room. If you have allergies, upper respiratory issues The Be Still & Breathe Salt Room is the next appointment you need to make. This has helped so many people with these issues and many other issues. Give them a call! They are located behind Dunkin Donuts on West Main Street.

diet cokes in cans
real cokes in cans
Wilson ONE is growing and we would love to have you at our November Meeting!
When is the last time you visited one of our libraries in Wilson County? Have small children or like to read yourself? Go visit one of our libraries! My favorite is the box they offer for rent that has movies and a bag of popcorn! My kind of rental box!
Alesia Burnley, with the Wilson County Library, shared some really great information with us today at our Wilson ONE meeting. It’s amazing what they offer! Visit their websites and check out all that they do for Wilson County.
Wilson ONE donated needed items such as glue sticks, paper plates, construction paper and card stock paper. We are always willing to help!
We even had time to take a photo with our Sherry’s Run shirts. A huge thanks to Marie Farley for providing those to our Wilson ONE team!
And ladies, we had 53 today for our meeting! WOW! That’s what I’m talking about! Let’s do it again and pack the room next month on October 4th. Same time, same place.
